Arguably, one of Toronto’s most iconic buildings, Old City Hall has been a part of Toronto’s skyline since 1899. Since 2006, we have provided ongoing design and construction phase services for this multi-phased complex HVAC improvement. Heating and cooling are based on the Enwave steam and Deep Lake chilled water connections. The new ventilation infrastructure utilizes pathways conceived in the original building for air flow. Designated a National Historic Site of Canada, this heritage landmark is one of Toronto’s architectural gems. It is now equipped with a current generation HVAC system to support the building’s enduring value and flexibility for many applications.
