The Quinte Courthouse holds LEED Silver certifications with an environmentally sustainable design. The structure exhibits an exterior of limestone with an east-west orientation providing interior spaces and an elaborate view of the City Hall. The energy efficient courthouse includes solar heating and daylight harvesting as optimal sustainability strategies.
The project was delivered under Infrastructure Ontario’s DBFM model, and we completed the full mechanical engineering design as part of the winning consortium team.
