The new 64-storey office tower is positioned on the southeast section of the existing site which will require demolition of both Commerce Court East and Commerce Court South. The project involves complicated integration with the existing below-grade areas including all levels of parking, the B2 service level, and the concourse level. It will be connected to the city’s underground PATH system and rapid transit services. It will add 3.76 million-sq. ft. of commercial space to the block and integrate the existing buildings while preserving heritage elements on the site.
