The Durham Region Courthouse is a noteworthy addition to Oshawa’s architectural development and the emerging structure of downtown Oshawa. This facility is the first governmental building in Ontario to achieve LEED Gold certification for its sustainable building and energy efficient methods. The project included jury courtrooms, judges and council chambers, an accused prisoner holding facility, and extensive administrative office spaces. 

This was one of the very first projects delivered under the contemporary Infrastructure Ontario DBFM model, and we completed the full mechanical engineering design as part of the winning consortium team.
