Roy Thomson Hall – 2002 Acoustical Renovation
Home to Toronto’s Symphony Orchestra, Roy Thomson Hall operates as a main staging host for the annual Toronto International Film Festival. The renovation project included improved acoustical performance, superior comfort levels, and heightened versatility as main features of the auditorium. Mechanical work included major revisions to the auditorium air distribution based on computational fluid dynamics analysis and provision of an automatic sprinkler fire protection system.
